Sisters, ABQ BSP City Council Agenda for our October 3, 2011 meeting. Thank You.

1. Memorial ritual for Joy L. Medley. Note: if the sisters of the Chapter of Psi Master (just a suggestion) would like to stand with me at this ritual, that will be fine. After the ritual, Psi Master sisters can share something special to us sisters ,about our departed sister Joy.
2. Roster- All Chapter Roster/CD counts should have been submitted to Mari Bryant by September 15th. Approximately $2.00 per roster. Rosters (hopefully) should be distributed at the October 3rd Meeting.
3. City Council Sponsor- TBA
4. Convention - Dorothy Martin; Committee sign-up sheets. Reminder to bring their chapters list, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. Please give to Dorothy at the October 3rd City council meeting.Note: If anyone that wants to serve on the Convention Board, please let Dorothy know as well.
4. Treasurer- Janice Swope. Just a reminder. Three Chapters still owe CC dues/Scholarship. Please give to Janice at the October 3rd, CC meeting. Alpha Omega, Eta Gamma and Laureate Pi. (If you have already paid) please ignore this email.
6. Honor's Luncheon Committee: Diane LeAnnais, Chapter Alpha Chi; Programs - We need everyone to know that they MUST have their Valentine Queen names submitted by October 3rd meeting.
or the names will not make the Honor's Luncheon programs.
The Committee also asked me to remind the sisters, that the Reservations sheets are due for the luncheon. We need the head count for each chapter in order to do a seating arrangement. We need

Vote: Closing the DWS account. Chapters should have already voted at your meeting to bring your votes to the CC meeting.
This Motion was passed by unanimous vote at the August 29th. 2011 meeting to increase the 2012-13 dues to $7.00 per member and $3.00 for scholarship.
5. BSP International: Karla MacRae Division Chairman. As we are celebrating our 80th anniversary, please have members share their events and ideas, by emailing to bsp80@betasigmaphi.org. You can access our website at www.betasigmaphi.org You will find information and announcements from International. Be sure to have your member number and e-mail address handy.
Another source of information is our sister website, the Beta Journal, at www.betajournal.com You can order programs, fill out your yardsticks and submit them electronically.
While you are rushing new members, or Friendly Venturing chapters, take time to share all the wonderful opportunities in Beta Sigma Phi. We are celebrating 80 years of Life, Learning and Friendship. Use our past to guide us into the future, as we are Building our Future on Traditions, and adding new members.
