Albuquerque Beta Sigma Phi
City Council Presidents and Representatives
Advisory Board
Executive Board
Dear Sisters in City Council,
This year we have something special to celebrate the "80th anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi" with each of you Building our Future traditions. Also, our State Convention will be held at the Marriott/Louisiana(I-40) in Albuquerque, NM. June 1, 2 and 3rd. It's an awesome year to be part of Sorority.
To our current members, new members, members on leave of absence, members at Large, transferees, and pledges, let us share what we have in Beta Sigma Phi with each other and those join us in the upcoming months. I hope there will be many.
One of our goals is that the Board will address all our concerns, issues, and criticisms in a satisfactory manner so that everyone will be encouraged to attend and participate in all our functions. In addition, I hope each guest chapter will urge their members to come at their assigned time. This is a great way to meet new members and renew old friendships.
The City council meetings will again be held in the Hodgin Elementary Library, located at 3801 Morningside Dr. NE (1 block east of Carlisle, one block north of Comanche or 4 blocks south of Montgomery).
Our first meeting will be held on August 29, 2011 at 7:00p.m.
City Council representatives should be prepared to vote on the budget at this meeting. Please bring a check (no cash please) for membership dues, if the budget passes.
Roster prices will be given to you by the contact Committee.
I am honored and look forward to being your City Council President for the coming year! I will be working with a wonderful staff of officers.
The Executive Board and I vowed at Installation to serve this Council to be the best of our ability. With your help, I am confident that we can fulfill our duties in this exciting anniversary year of our sisterhood.
Hugs, your sister in Beta Sigma Phi
Mary E. Stanton, President
