Hello Sisters,
My name is Rose and my sisters in the Dayton Ohio chapter of Xi Theta Epsilon of Beta Sigma Phi hope you will help with a surprise for our President Mary Jo Tucker. They are sending me on a trip to your city this year in anticipation that you will Share Our Passport to Adventure. All of my travel experiences will be put together for Mary Jo’s scrapbook and presented to her in April. I’d like to visit as many cities and countries as possible so please email me to other sisters.
Some of you might know my friend Flat Stanley who’s been travelling around the world for years. He’s discovered so many interesting things from friends and strangers alike, we thought it was time for me to hit the travel circuit too! (http://www.flatstanleyproject.net/)
I’d love to visit your chapter’s meeting or spend some time with each of you at a social, service project, city council meeting or at your computer if you’re an online sister. If you have the time, I would really enjoy seeing some of the special sites of your city and hear what your BSP legacies are up to this year.
I’m not camera shy so a picture with my sisters would be a great addition to our surprise. My clothes and hair may appear to be a bit plain or not comfortable for your climate so feel free to print a copy of me then change my clothes, add a bit of color or accessories to my wardrobe.
We are always looking for new project ideas and hope you will share some of yours in the included questionnaire. You can email an improved me, jpeg pictures of me and completed questionnaires to my BSP sister Carol at cscriven1@woh.rr.com or mail to Carol in Ohio at 1737 Edith Marie Dr. Beavercreek, OH 45431. It would be great if they could be sent to her by March 1, 2010.
