The article states that the city's hottest married couples were nominated and tons of photos and letters were sent in suggesting local pairs. Albuquerque the Magazine put the nominees on their web site and let the readers vote for their favorites. There were 20 couples featured in this article. This was the magazine's first "Hot Marrieds" Contest.
