To all of my sisters in Beta Sigma Phi-this is my very favorite time of the year! Everyone is busy, but they are also thinking about each other. The warm thoughts and goodwill threads through all of our activities,and we seem to feel better about ourselves and humanity this time of year. I love the sounds of carols, the kids sitting on Santa's knee, the smells of cookies baking and the homemade tamales. Even though we don't often have a white Christmas, the evenings are colder and reveal all of the sparkling Christmas lights-another of my favorites.
